4DN-25104-00 Front Spoke Set
#1
Hey Guys,

I am in the middle of rebuild and I have all the parts except for 4DN-25104-00 Front Spoke set. The available part for the same is 4DN-25104-20 which is not a replacement and I am not sure if it is. So guys if you know any links or leads please let me know. Many thanks.

Here's what I found on that:

Quote:リムの材質(スチール/アルミ)以外は同一だったハズ。

スポークセットの型番がフロントホイールはSRVが4DN-25104-00でルネッサが4DN-25104-20、
リアホイールは両方とも4DN-25304-00。

Which translates as:
Except for the material of the rim (steel / aluminum) they should be the same.
The part number for the SRV front wheel spoke set is 4DN-25104-00 while the Renaissa is 4DN-25104-20,
the rear wheel is the same for both at 4DN-25304-00.

hey Chief the Renaissa came with different hubs as well. I am not sure if the spokes design changed along with it. The spoke bend angles etc. I would like to be sure before purchasing. Can I have any pics of the 4DN-25104-20 spoke if possible? Thanks

Okay, I see now. I didn't realize it, but after the 4DN1 Yamaha changed the hub sizes.
Hub Diameters:
4DN1: 108mm
4DN2-5: 137mm
So, the different spoke part numbers indicate that change.
Front Spoke sets:
4DN1: 4DN-25104-00
4DN2-5: 4DN-25104-20

I don't have any pictures but did see someone mention that Yamaha has some small pics online somewhere.
Hope this helps.

I need to replace both front and rear on my 93 srv. Part numbers are 4DN-25104-20 front and 4DN-25304-00 rear. Can you suggest the best and cheapest place to source these? Being in South Africa , with a currency taking a nose-dive , price is very important.

Yeah, being in South Africa, I'm not sure what your options may be.  A quick check of Amazon.jp showed they actually have a front set for about 7,000 yen.  Not sure what their shipping policy is for overseas.

You could also try to find a replacement part that fits other bikes.  It's getting to the point with these bikes to where that is the easiest route.  Stock parts are becoming more and more rare.

Definitely let us know how it works out.
